Happy Father's Day!

I can't believe it's already the middle of June!  Dennis was so excited to go camping for Father's Day this year.  We had a super relaxing weekend and made waffles for breakfast this morning.  He loved it. 

The girls each got him a tshirt and I bought him a grilling mat that he has wanted for awhile.  I was worried he was going to buy it before I had a chance to! 

It was nice to get away, just the 4 of us, with no visitors.  But there were a couple times everyone was annoyed with each other.  However, it happens at home too, so nothing new - just in a smaller space with less places to escape, haha.

Most Serene Spot Yet

When we went camping this weekend, I fell in love with this spot.  I hope that we can get this spot again in the future!

Friday night, we were watching Lorelai and Bryleigh begged for her to stay the night.  I can promise, I will never let a baby stay the night in the RV again.  FML.  She woke up numerous times crying and then woke up early in the am.  I am not about that life anymore.  She make have looked adorable here, as we were getting ready for bed, but her cuteness wore off realllll quick when I had to get up at 1am to change her diaper.

We had Taevion over for the next night and the kids enjoyed riding bikes for awhile and then just hanging out.  They played a card game before bed and then laid down to watch tv. I was ok with him staying b/c he's potty trained, sleeps through the night and sleeps in.  Haha.  But seriously - I love Lorelai, but cannot do that baby stuff anymore.

Eiffel Tower of Fire

On our most recent trip we stopped at Walmart to get some groceries the girls stayed in the RV with Blitz while Dennis and I went in and shopped. They have the generator on so there was plenty of air conditioning and they were watching TV in the back. Blitz remain in his spot up on the dashboard people were driving by taking pictures of him! HAHA!  I’m hoping they just thought he looked cute not that we had him locked in some hot, stuffy RV.

Overall Blitz is been a pretty fun camping companion.  There only been a few issues where he’s dog reactive. He doesn’t really want to hurt them I think he just wants to play with them but he’s just so overwhelmed when he sees them he literally will drag us away. One day we were sitting around playing cards and Blitz decided when he saw a little terrier walking by he had to go meet him and when he took off the way he was standing he drug the chain under us and brought down Cadence's chair, Bryleigh's chair and wrapped himself around the table into Dennis and then me. 

The kids got hurt, Dennis got his legs scraped up, luckily where I was sitting I was spared from any pain.

We've noticed how much more anxious Blitz has been. The vet doesn't have any more solutions.  We've done various different medications, dog training with a trainer, changing our schedule to keep him from getting upset.  We don't know what else to do.  It is killing us.  He is even able to escape from his crate now.  Every time I come home for lunch, he has gotten out of the crate and messed up his face doing so.  Not putting him in the crate, I come home at lunch and his gums are bleeding from chewing at the door.  He is breaking my heart.  He loves us so much and he just wants us to be with him.  I wish I could be with him all the time.

Back to our camping trip.  Dennis thought building a fire with wood that needed to be cut down was no big deal....

Oy vey!  Like seriously?  Ugh.  Thankfully he didn't burn anything down but I told him do not ever do that again.  He thought it was awesome, of course.
